We are finally in the home stretch. Tonight, I attended three Night Out Against Crime events in Madison, Donelson (where I won a free pizza!), and back in Old Hickory. With that, I think I have attended my last pre-election public event. Tomorrow, I will be busy distributing yard signs around the county for Team Marisa volunteers who do not already have one, and at all of the precincts in District 20. If you did not vote early and are planning to vote on Thursday, remember, the polls are open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. It is the longest ballot in Tennessee history, so I strongly recommend that you get out as early as possible You will be voting for Governor (I voted for John McKamey), US Senate (I voted for Terry Adams), US House, Tennessee State Senate (odd numbered districts only), Tennessee House of Representatives, and then the Democratic State Executive Committee. After that, will be all of the county offices. Be sure to vote for the Democratic nominees. The end of the ballot will be the retention vote on the Appellate Court Judges. Be sure to vote RETAIN for all of them. Finally, please SAVE THE DATE of Wednesday, August 20, and join me in thanking all of my volunteers. More details to follow.
