Below are the details: Down To The Grave - Audition in OC/Shoots in LA Hector, an 18 year old boy, any ethnic race, kills without guilt. He is an aggressive, skilled fighter, who dominates all situations. On one hand he uses his personality to charm and cajole and on the other hand, he controls and torments. Joshua, an 18 year old boy, any ethnic race, follows Hector blindly throughout the story. Hes also a skilled fighter but much less adept than Hector. He questions their acts of violence, shows remorse, and eventually has a guilty conscience. Mrs. Kwan is a 40 year old woman who is mourning the loss of her husband. Passing - Audition/Shoot in OC Cleo, a 40 year old mother of two young children, attempts to kill herself with tequila and pills. She has suffered through breast cancer and although she didnt have a mastectomy, the treatment of chemo and radiation devastated her life. She has attempted suicide two times before this moment. Her temperament is volatile, anxious, yet she still nurtures both boys throughout the story. ( She does have a scene where she is examining her bare breasts in the mirror.) Rory, 30 year old man, just broke up with his fiancee and cant cope with the failures of his career and personal life. He is full of angst and is the foil to Cleo as they banter back and forth about what effect their actions have on one another in this tragic situation. He takes on the big brother role to Levy. But Rory is determined to kill himself no matter what. Levy, a 18 year old adolescent, is very wise and sensitive beyond his years. He has been bullied by a classmate, emotionally abandoned by his mother and is building up the courage to kill himself with a gun. He stays calm and collected throughout the piece even though hes been shot. He encourages Cleo to stay alive for her childrens future. Levys need to kill himself is handled gently and thoughtfully by him. He writes a suicide poem encapsulating the tone of the movie. A young girl, age 8 to 10, who is the daughter of Cleo. She is worried about her mother who has been under the water of their pool for a long period of time. A young boy, age 10 to 12, and the son of Cleo. He is also watching for his mothers emergence from the water.
