We are in that season in the earth where God is bringing to our sight and hearing A NEW SOUND. Something so alien to what we have been accustomed to. It is a different sound. It shifts us from our comfort zone into these uncharted territories in the Spirit. Every move of God in the earth has brought with it a different and unique sound. Something that gives clarity and expression to what God is doing in that particular season. Right from Martin Luther’s WHAT A MIGHTY FORTRESS IS OUR GOD to the present face of what we call praise and worship today. These sounds have sought to cause us to ascend in our perspective of the Lord. In this NEW DAY- this DAY OF THE LORD, we are coming into the awareness of one thing- IT IS THE DAY OF THE LORD. If indeed this is true , then there is a SONG OF THE LORD for THIS DAY OF THE LORD. David in Psalm 118:24 says, “This is the DAY which the Lord has MADE, we will (our responsibility in this day is to) REJOICE and BE GLAD” Zeph 3:17- “ The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.” As we yield to the Lord in this NEW THING, this NEW SOUND in the hearts and mouths of men and women in different places across the earth will begin to close the breaches that have existed within the hearts of the people and also in the different spheres of influence, which has given darkness the legal right to rule. The Lord is beginning to raise men and women of different races, tribes and tongues mantled with the graces of men like Heman, Jeduthun, Asaph, the sons of Korah and Chennaniah. These people will be instructed and skilled in the birthing of the song of the Lord. They will prophesy on the instruments. They will prophesy according to the order of our Heavenly King David. Just as Peter on the Day of Pentecost said, “ This is that..”, we will also say that THIS IS THAT which was spoken by the Prophet Amos. “ In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the Lord that doeth this.” (Amos 9:11-12) #KDG2014
