We are indeed a funny a people, after reading BECKONED TO SERVE: THE AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF SHEHU SHAGARI,couldnt just stop laughing how each government of the day is always the best while its still in office. Reminded me how IBB & Abachas governments were also considered the best in their times. For IBB, Arthur Nzeribe he didnt even see why such a government should even ever contemplate leaving office,hence there was no need for the 1993 presidential elections. Almost all the regions endorsed Abchas because it was the best ever in the countrys history,the Ibos especially more than even the north agreed with this as they were in the fore front demanding that Abacha should stay forever. The Daniel Kalus YOUTHS EARNESTLY ASKED FOR ABACHA was one of such numerous calls. OBJ was too good to be replaced that there was an attempt to amend the constitution just to give him more years to continue with his good works. What I dont understand is that some of the prominent actors acussing the previous administrations of non performance were the same people that gave those governments good verdict,am sure even after oga GEJ if there are still alive they will give the reigning government an A in performance
