We are launching a pilot program to help Aboriginal communities that have limited access to tradespeople. Next week our first Plumbing Health Check Program will take place in Lightning Ridge and Walgett, to help Indigenous social housing tenants along with local Aboriginal housing providers, Murdi Paaki Regional Housing Corporation Ltd and Barriekneal Community & Housing Ltd. Participants will learn how to identify basic signs indicating system failure, blocked drains and leaking water mains. Effective use of drinking water supplies, backflow prevention and identifying water conservation opportunities will also be covered. To learn more, follow the link in the comments below.
