We are looking for a part-time Administrator for Voluntary Services and HR (15 hours per week) This is a busy, exciting, and challenging role to support the new Voluntary Services Manager. The post holder is primarily responsible for providing an efficient administrative support service to the Voluntary Services team, with occasional administrative assistance to the HR team. The overall aim of the Voluntary Services team is to ensure that the Hospice has the right volunteer resources in place to meet its strategic and operational objectives and maintain its vital roots in the community it serves. The role will work closely with line managers and volunteers and the successful candidate will be part of the Human Resources team. Responsibilities include; scheduling of volunteers and communicating to required departments; maintaining an up to date database of volunteers using excel; maintaining volunteer diary; answering telephone calls. Occasional attendance at evening meetings may be required. The successful candidate will have an excellent telephone manner and will preferably have had experience as a volunteer and/or of working in a Voluntary Services or HR Team. Excellent organisation and administrative skills are essential as is the ability to harness and foster the goodwill of volunteers.
