We are looking for a special person to help us run our lovely village shop: Broadwindsor Community Stores This award winning shop is seeking an enthusiastic Manager to run its thriving business. The successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day management of the store, working alongside an Assistant and Volunteers. They will be computer literate (the Shop runs an EPOS till system) and possess excellent inter-personal skills. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate initiative, imagination, and leadership to implement strategies designed to increase customer spend and shop profitability. Relevant Retail experience is a prerequisite of the job, with a liquor licence an added benefit. Hours are negotiable, around 32 hours per week, with early starts, weekend and Bank Holiday work involved. In addition the appointed person will be expected to attend monthly Management Meetings outside these hours. Start date 1st December.
