We are looking for an Mechanical technician for a leading aluminium company in Oman Named SOhar Aluminium.Please find the job description below : • Action the work plan and to solve technical maintenance problems by applying learned procedures. • Analyse problems in complex industrial equipment, diagnose the solution and implement the repairs/ correct equipment faults • Execute preventive and predictive maintenance to optimize availability and reliability and quickly return under-performing equipment to design specification program (calibration, inspections, cleaning, adjustment) • Input information to the SAP Plant Maintenance module (eg: create reservations / spending, raise requisitions to procure materials, create closure) • Check the operation, adjust, replace, repair, configure, calibrate and maintain the Area equipment to ensure its efficient operation and availability • Ensure high quality standards • 3 year Mechanical Engineering diploma with 4 to 5 years solid hands-on industrial mechanical maintenance experience • Exposure within Aluminium Smelter, Steel, Copper, Fertilizer or any other related heavy industries • Important: Full details of qualifications, experience and equipment knowledge must be reflected in CV(e.g. crushers, conveyors, blowers and fans, filters, cranes, compressors, ball mills, furnaces, hydraulics, etc.) If you feel you are interested for the above position,please mail me your updated resume in word format along with the following details : 1.
