We are looking for volunteers to work with us in the sanctuary. We have more work each day, more animals, and we need more hands to have it all well cared. Animals that are separated because they are ill, or are very small, need from special attention, and we are currently fighting against a disease in sheep. So we look for solidary volunteers who love animals and like physical work. It doesn´t matter that you live away, the stay is in the sanctuary. The stay will be one week for each volunteer, to see after that who is formed the best team. Be a volunteer at the sanctuary requires some requirements: - If you come from another country, we need that you can speak and understand the spanish language, it´s important to communicate well. - You have to be physically fit, because work is physical and consistent. - Be an awaken person, you must always be watching and controlling. Adapting to new situations, responding to emergencies, changing the routine, ... - Be a morning person, up early every day and often went to bed late. - Be able to live without heat or hot water. The lack of resources makes it not possible that we can have hot water and we must adapt to it. - Vegan life inside the Sanctuary anyway. - No fixed hours of rest, there are days when there is no time to rest until the night and other days we can take a break in the afternoon, but suddenly we may have to start working again. - A small daily fee is requested for food and housing expenses, due to the lack of resources. It is wonderful to dedicate your time to those who need it most. The reward is their love, and know that you are helping to make this world a better place. A sacrifice and hard work but surrounded by wonderful beings and seeing every day the result of the work that you do. Let them be happy is the best gift we can receive who work every day at their side, fighting for they have the life that should always be :) See you here!
