We are nearing the onsite rounds of ACM ICPC Asia regionals, which means the preparations will have to be steadier than before. Upon getting several requests from all our ACM ICPC aspirants we have decided to run a series of team contests, every day, to acclimatize you to the competition environment ahead of the main event, starting from 1st December till 18th of December, 2014. The details for this series of contests are as under: Each contest will be a team contest, so multiple login sessions will not be allowed from one team login. The problems in these contests will be picked from among the existing problems of CodeChef. So, while the solutions will be available in public, we expect you to not look at them and solve them with your team with absolute honesty. The idea is to provide team practice. There will be only one contest page and you will have to register your team only once (no need to do it every day). A set of problems will be added every day and the old set will be removed. It will be a three hour contest starting from 21:00 hrs to 00:00 hrs IST everyday. You can register your team anytime during the entire duration. The contests will not have any impact on ratings. We do not know if it will really work out as the problems are already available. But since we have received requests from our users to do so, we thought of giving it a try. We hope this will help some of you to get the much needed team practice. We invite you all the greenhorns as well as the experienced campaigners preparing for the ACM ICPC Asia regionals to get your teams ready for the main event. Do tell us if you like it or even if you do not like it. If we see that this is not being useful to anyone, then we may stop this based on your feedback.
