We are now on Twitter! If you are on Twitter, follow us at @AccuAstronomy. Our Twitter feed will notify you when we have a new blog post on AccuWeather, when we have any significant new Facebook posts, and it will also be used for quick updates of auroral activity, meteor showers, or other astronomy-related breaking news. Especially during heightened auroral activity, our Twitter feed will likely get very busy with several Tweets per hour, but on slow days, there may only be one or two posts. We won’t necessarily be answering Tweets quite as often as we answer direct questions on Facebook, but don’t hesitate to Tweet us if you are watching an especially active meteor shower or see aurora, so that we can let others know when and where to look. In general, we’re not going to be using the Twitter feed for user-submitted photos, but we will continue to link to user-submitted photos on Facebook.
