We are offering a catering internship of two to three months, The intern will have the chance to learn a variety of recipes, special diets and much more and have an understanding of how to run a busy kitchen on a budget. This will allow the intern to gain some work experience and gain new skills. The internship role involves supporting our catering team in providing Helen and Douglas House guests and families with fresh and healthy food, adhering to a catering budget and maintaining strict levels of food hygiene at all times. To help the catering team deliver the food on time and to help prepare the set menu. You must have a high standard of food hygiene, a passion for cooking and to be able to cook on a budget. You must have good communication skills and be sensitive to the needs of our guests and families. You must be able to maintain a professional manner when working in a busy kitchen.
