We are one week away from the 16th Annual Decatur County Golf Tournament. This years tournament is scheduled for Saturday, August 3rd at the Tennessee River Golf Course. We currently have 34 teams signed up and we plan to cut off at 40 teams, leaving just 6 slots available. If you are planning on playing and have been putting it off, NOW WOULD BE THE TIME TO SIGN UP!! I have attached the brochure again for your information. In addition to a NEW FORD provided by TENNESSEE VALLEY FORD and several other prizes, we have two new events planned for this tournament. Look at #2, you don’t have to play in the tournament to WIN BIG and you don’t even have to be present to win!!! 1) For those playing in the tournament, for an additional $10 donation, the closest to the pin on Hole #15 will receive a BIG GREEN EGG courtesy of BIG GREEN EGG and RED DOOR GALLERIA. A hole in one is not required, the CLOSEST to the pin for the day will go home with a BIG GREEN EGG!! 2) Also, courtesy of our newest industrial neighbor, Infinity Laboratories, Inc., we will be having The Spectacular Golf Ball Drop following the afternoon round. We are selling numbered golf balls for $10 each. Following the afternoon round, we will drop 100 golf balls on the green and the numbered ball that goes into the hole will receive $500. If more than one ball goes into the hole, the money will be divided. If for some reason, we don’t sell 100 balls, the prize money will be ½ of the total collected. You do NOT have to be present to win. To be included, I must have your information and money prior to the ball drop on August 3rd.
