We are organizing a meeting in Sarajevo (Bosnia-Herzegovina) this fall, titled “Dealing with the past and the war legacies in the Former Yugoslavia”. The meeting will gather prominent scholars, mostly historians, from the region. They will discuss how they can collaborate on a new project that intends to produce an unbiased and inclusive account of the recent history of the region, with a focus on causes, events, and consequences of the 1990s wars. The meeting will be supported by the European Commission.
