We are publishing online today Creative Scotland’s Draft Film Strategy 2014-17 for public feedback. This document is an important step in shaping the ambitions and priorities that will form the backbone of the Film Strategy, the final version of which will be published at the end of September 2014. The consultation will remain open until 5pm on Thursday 31 July 2014. Drawing on the findings from the Film Sector Review and from the wide range of feedback and ideas that we have received through discussions with people working in the screen sector, this draft Film Strategy aims to provide a clear and action-led plan for film in Scotland, set in the context of the ambitions laid out in our recently published 10-year Strategic Plan: Unlocking Potential, Embracing Ambition.
