We are resurfacing the closed sections of Barkham and Oxford Roads overnight this week, on 26 and 27 November. The work is best done at night because of the health and safety implications of planing during the day. Our contractor plans to plane and lay the base course on the first night, and then put down the surface course on the second. We will do everything we can to keep the noise to a minimum for nearby residents. They will be receiving letters today or tomorrow, with more information and contact details.
