We are routing tour dates for July-Sept, and doing it totally independently. Want to book us for an event or private party? Its not that hard. Check out how one fan is going about it. Maybe you and your friends can do the same... If it is ok with Muck Sticky , I have something For those wanting Muck to come party while on his tour....Here is what we did to be able to afford it...AND still have a great party! Sorry for the length! PARTY 101~~~~ We got together with our buddies that like Muck and our buddies that just like to party. We set aside a date that will coincide with Mucks tour date. We ordered food and beer and Wap (our special recipe) and tallied up that price. Then we added the price of Mucks gig to that. Divided it between 50 of our close friends/people we know arent going to go all crazy. We already have a nice venue out in the country- you may have to find one or pay for one. If youve got too many people, you run into more chances of problems, unless you have it at a bar/nightclub then all the responsibility is on the bar-not you. Our ticket price includes exactly: Mucks fee, 28 gallons of beer, 5 gallons of Wap, a half a hog spit roasted over a fire and all the bbq fixings. $35 per person covers that entire amount. (I save because I talk to the grocery manager for beer discounts and I buy the hog directly from the meat plant) I have to pay Muck on a specific day via paypal, and the tickets my friends are getting have to be purchased by a specific day as well. I gave my friends precisely and ONLY 21 days to pay me, so I can pay Muck Sticky on time-exactly when I say I am going too! Respect Muck!! Anything purchased after that the price goes to $50 with the extra money going into the Muck Sticky Tip Jar. Give your crew a specific day!! and stick to it- they will try to not pay...you know your pals! Tips: First find a venue/place to have a party. It shouldnt have to be said...but HAVE PERMISSION!!! Respect your venue. 1. have a specific purchase by date for your tickets, or your friends will simply leave you footing the entire bill or just not show up. Dont count on them to follow through. It happens! 2. If it is ok with Muck Sticky, maybe a radio station/bar/nightclub/group locally would host a meet and greet. Fans can buy merch and take pictures, if there is time, between stops. 3. Figure your cost. Figure it again...and then figure it again. 4. Invite people that you know are NOT going to get drunk and start a fight 2 hours in. You want a chill party, not one where there is a brawl every half an hour over a chicken wing. 5. Purchase cans of beer. Bottles can get broken. Keg parties have a LOT of wasted beer leftover. People get a cup, walk away from it. Get another one. Someone always stands at the keg and pumps it until there is nothing left BUT foam...and arguments always ensue over who is doing the keg operating correctly. Plus if there is leftover cans of beer...you simply keep those. Leftover beer in the keg goes right back to where you purchased the keg from. Plus you can turn in your cans for pocket change later. Respect your earth...recycle! 6. Be VERY respectful of your friends who have paid their ticket price. You do NOT add money to cover your ticket price. You pay the same as them...even if your doing the work. 7. Give out wristbands and ONLY let your closest trusted friends hand them out. Anyone without a wristband is a dead giveaway to your paying party people/friends..that THAT guy got in free. That will quickly make for an angry crowd. Respect your pals. KEEP records of who paid what...and when! 8. Do everything you can to discourage and prevent underage drinking at your party, and have people there to inspect for it. 9. Assign a non drinking person(two preferably) to be your designated drivers/taxi service. Yes, they can charge people to drive them home- not to much or they will simply just drive home themselves.. Your responsibility as host is to the FUN and the safety of your party goers! Go as far as to call a local hotel. Most will let you offer a 10%-15% discount to your party goers for reserving in advance. I call it The Stay Safe program. I do it for all my parties. Take care of your folks! Stay lifted and lets have a fun summer!! So if you think you want to organize a Muck Sticky Pajama Party, send us a direct message with the date and city you have in mind, and we will work on getting you set up. See ya this summer!!!
