We are sending our very best wishes and lots of good luck and thanks to Danny Ingrouille today as he is taking part in the Tri Ultimate here in Guernsey. The event comprises a 1.25mile swim, 21.5mile cycle ride and finishes with a 14mile run. Many people are taking part and are doing so as part of a relay, but Danny is doing the whole event himself. The event is being held to raise money for Hope for a Child but the organisers have very kindly agreed that he can split his fund raising equally between the PPBF and Hope for a Child. So far Danny has raised approx £1,000 - an amazing amount. Danny is very good friends with the Nicolle family and it is their beautiful five year old daughter, who is bravely undergoing cancer treatment, that has given Danny the motivation to do this. If you are out and about today, especially around the Pembroke area, and see Danny or any of the other competitors, give them a shout and cheer, Im sure that they will appreciate all of your support.
