We are so sad to report the passing of Curly Alumna Pepper. Her parents wrote in to say, We are sad to report that Pepper, Curly Tail alum from 2009, has passed away at the age of 17. Pepper came to us with a lot of challenges but she was a fighter. Despite the tough road that she traveled, she made the best of her situation and spent the last 5+ years of her life surrounded by her parents and her two pug siblings, Murray and Colette. In that time, Pepper enjoyed meal time, her wheeled walks and laying in the sun while snoozing away. Pepper made us better people; caring for her special needs taught us patience and showed us how devoted one could be to another living being. We are very thankful to have had Pepper in our lives and well miss her, for she was truly one of a kind. We are so grateful that Pepper knew real love and family for the past 5+ years and that she died surrounded by it!! Thank you for choosing to adopt #adoptdontshop
