We are so very sorry for the delay in your Vinnie update, but here - TopicsExpress

We are so very sorry for the delay in your Vinnie update, but here he is folks, doing great and loving life! Vinnie had a busy couple of days. We had our huge Step Into Spring Sale on Saturday and Vinnie helped out quite a bit getting ready for the event..... Our event featured a giant flea market, a bake sale, a vendor fair, and we had a whole tent full of Popcorn Park gear for customers to peruse. Vinnie had a hand in getting everything together. From directing the staff in what Popcorn Park shirts to gather up in his room to sampling some of the baked goods for our sale (we had homemade dog treats, dont worry!), Vinnie was a big help. Its unfortunate that Vinnie was unable to come out during the event to greet our supporters but unfortunately, Vinnie has a touch of a cold again, and we are trying very hard to keep our boy as healthy as possible so he can start his water therapy soon. Our Step Into Spring Sale was a huge success and we would like to thank all of our generous supporters for coming out! It was such a pleasure to meet so many of you and we truly appreciate your support of all of our wonderful animals at Associated Humane Societies. We also want to send out a HUGE THANK YOU to our volunteers who work so hard to ensure that our event went well. They work so hard to do whatever they can to better the lives of the animals in our care, and their dedication and devotion is more appreciated than they will ever know. Vinnie has a busy week coming up. He will go for a consultation with a physical therapist and then hopefully, well get our boy in the swimming pool and on the treadmill to start working those hips. He is already getting stronger and stronger and is really enjoying his freedom now, with being able to go in our giant exercise yard. Wait until he gets to jump in the pool! Vinnie will be joined on his adventure to see the physical therapist by both Nina and Blossom. In case you dont remember....... Nina is the beautiful pit mix girl that was surrendered to us after having a home for 6 years because her family was moving. After she was surrendered, we realized that Nina had two ruptured cruciate ligaments and a torn meniscus. She went through major surgery to repair the injuries and is now ready to start therapy. Blossom is the little terrier pup that was thrown out of a moving vehicle in the park. Blossom suffered a bone and joint damage and will now need therapy to correct her walking. Both are expected to make a full recovery. Nina, Blossom and Vinnie are all getting the help that they need thanks to our Res-Q Fund. When we ask people to contribute to our fund for Vinnie, you are not just helping Vinnie, but also helping others like Nina and Blossom that would have no hope were it not for our Res-Q Fund. Be sure to stay tuned.......soon youll be able to see the Invincible Vinnie swimming! youtu.be/mwtbsRjMX48
