We are standing right before the next step in the evolution of human consciousness. This group is an open forum about the possibility that the notion of free will ceases to exist. Neuroscience, Philosophy, Religion, Psychoanalysis, Post-structural thinking predicts that our notion of consciousness with the idea that I am doing in its center is wrong. The paradigmatic shift what will have to take place is to move from I am doing to It does me. But the mind refuses to accept this shift, due to its boundedness to inherited beliefs. We will explore the possibility of living without the concept of free will in the center of ones own personal identity from different theoretical perspectives (philosophical, sociological, political, etc.) as well as from the practical what does this mean for my everyday life perspective. This includes a desire to overthrow ones own prejudices and to re-think and re-evaluate the paradigmatic conceptual framework of our society. Every meetup will held under a specific question. Upcoming topics: Is there free will? What is personal identity? Are we immortal? Does God exist? How can we be happy? How can we live a meaningful live?
