We are starting 2015 with continued good news. Twelve weeks ago Tommys CT scan was unchanged. Todays CT showed a tiny increase in a spot the doctor has been watching for over a year. The spot was tiny to begin with so a minuscule growth is nothing to be concerned about, according to the doctor. The even better news is that if the spot is cancer, it is not going anywhere fast. After all that, we were told that it COULD be a non-malignant growth and that the reported increase could simply show the difference in radiologists. No matter what the reasoning, the doctors and nurses told us that we have no cause for alarm - so we are not alarmed. Tommy feels as well as ever and his blood pressure is staying in the safe range. He rarely has nausea, therefore his appetite is good. Finding things wrong with him seems to be the challenge for the medical team that works with us. Thats a good thing!
