We are starting another blanket drive for the Garland animal shelter. The pictures below are of pups at Garland using the blankets that were donated. The floor in the shelter is concrete and very cold and I heard from a shelter volunteer that the blankets also give the pups a sense of security. If you have some blankets that you can donate, that would be great. If not, Walmart sells a nice fleece blanket for $2.88. They work great because theyre thin and easy to wash. We will be at Petco in Plano this Saturday, January 10th from 11-4. Petco is located on 15th street next to Bed Bath and Beyond. If you would like to donate and can drop off at our adoption event, we will make sure the blankets get to the shelter Monday morning. Thank you so much!
