We are taking your health seriously at the Moira River Food Company: Our new store policy ensures food safety at a whole new level! As of Sunday, November 9th the food scoops will be in separate scoop bins. This reduces the amount of utensils that have previously rested in/or on the food making it easy for us to be able to wash and rotate in clean scoops several times a day!! :) In short, you will only encounter hand to scoop contamination instead of hand to scoop to food.... and you as a customer can control that easily by using the disposable gloves or hand sanitizers which we have through-out the shop! :) Exceptions to this new policy is Gluten free flours and a few food items in the shop that will compromise the taste or cleanliness of other food items if the scoop leaves that bin. *Please remember we are not nut-free, as most bulk food processing factories handle nut products.
