We are taught that as the days, weeks, months and years pass we are in fact drawing closer to meeting our Maker. So rather than party through the night, sin and become unmindful of the fact that we are losing time as the clock ticks, we should be preparing for the day we shall leave the world for good. All the glitter and glamour, beauty and wealth of this world shall be left behind as well as our loved ones. Every minute brings us closer to this reality. Those who become unmindful of this and choose to rebel or transgress have none other than themselves to blame. An intelligent person prepares for that day by developing the best possible link with His Maker, being kind to fellow human beings and improving in every way as the days pass. Let us not forget that life is but a test for the believers. The eternal bliss is yet to come! May the Almighty grant us success, make us an asset to those we interact with, pardon us & grant us the loftiest ranks of paradise without reckoning. Ameen.
