We are very happy to be open again and serving customers after our recent upgrade. Here are some comments from some very important people. Mrs Khushi, wife of the restaurants creator and who ran the restaurant from its inception in 1947 to as recently as 2003 said, I am very pleased that the restaurant is still as popular as ever and I hope that this extension will allow even more people to become part of Edinburghs 70 year tradition of Indian food from Khushis. Mr Mohammed, the current owner and son of Mr Khushi said, The Khushi family looks forward to welcoming guests both new and old and we are sure that they will be suitably impressed by the new decor and dishes. Khushis Antigua Street has undergone an amazing transformation and now boasts seating for 160 and a stylish new look. The restaurant has re-opened offering an exciting menu featuring some old favourites along with newly created dishes like Tawa Lobster served with house fries and a number of regional curry dishes that are rarely seen outside India.
