We are very sad to announce that Den Kepner passed away last Friday morning. Every one of you who has been active on our Facebook page and interacting with other fans will probably know him. He has been one of our closest fans from the very beginning and one of the kindest and most supportive people we have ever met. Always commenting on our posts and videos and even supporting us financially, he also became friends with many of you, and we know that it meant a lot to him to have been able to make these friendships. Although we never had the pleasure to meet Den personally but just online, we got to know him as a very dear friend over all these years, who enriched our lives with his stories, his love for the music and with his fine and funny humor. Although it became more and more difficult for him, he always tried hard to keep up a good mood and stay on the positive side of life. We are glad that he is relieved from his pain and sorrows now, but we will miss him dearly. We know we have changed his life a lot, and we are happy to say that he has changed ours too, in the best possible way. Two weeks ago he had sent us a Welcome to Liverpool present for our parents and us: T-shirts saying Someone in Carlisle loves you. On a Skype chat only last week we were chatting and joking along, he was in very good mood although we could see him getting weaker rapidly. His medical condition had been very poor for the last years and months. So the news came very suddenly, though not completely unexpected, as he was suffering from an illness for many years. Last year we recorded a song for Den and sent it to him as a present. It was God Only Knows by the Beach Boys, his favourite group besides the Beatles. A few weeks later and with his permission we made a video for it and put it on YouTube for everyone else to see. We hope youll enjoy it and think about Den. We have lost a very good friend, we will miss him dearly, and he will stay in our hearts forever
