We are weighted down with the burden of what we have been taught by well-meaning, but shortsighted, people regarding original sin or the fall. It is well to repeat: there has not been a fall; there has been only experience. We are on a mission of self-discovery, and we discover just as much from being in accord with perfection as we do by opposing it. Would Infinite Love place us in creation, ignorant, blind, and vulnerable, condemning us for feeling our way along? No, the error of Adam and Eve was to be influenced by the Lucifer deception, by concluding that perfection was a goal and not an experience. It is a worthy goal, but not one arrived at by means other than the perfecting of each moment of each day. Perfection is recreating ourselves according to the pattern into which we are drawn. This was the error, the illusion that we could become perfect without experiencing perfection that was introduced into General Materiality before the condensation of time and space.
