We are well into the new year and I feel its time to update you all on what we found out In the case. We where informed that they do not have sufficient evidence to prosecute anyone for the homicide of Skylar. I fully understand the prosecutors position on this but it doesnt mean we like it. So as of right now unless there is more evidence brought to the LPD or the Tippecanoe prosecutor about the homicide, no one will be charged. This was hard to accept and still is hard to swallow but sometimes in life we have to realize that somethings are out of our control and is in the Masters hand to deal with. We will never forget the tragedy that has happened and will continue to bring attention to child abuse in hopes of saving the life of another innocent life. Forever let Skylars voice be heard for those children out there that need us to speak out for them. Be vigilant in keeping an open eye and listening for a child in need. It may not always be an abused child that need your help either it may be as simple as a child needing your praise or a simple hug or even a smile.
