We are with Mayor Tony Calixto in Pasay last Friday July 31, 2014 for VABES GPTA Oathtaking and problem discussion on the defective school buildings of Megaworld Corporation as a requirement of Bases Conversion Development Authority Bcda Taguig City. We have reached this problem to our neighbor @rwmanila ResortWorld Manila immediately after the suspension of classes. What is the stand of BCDA regarding this? What is the stand of Megaworld? We have reached out to Resorts World Manila but Mr Mark Meneses of Employee Engagement said, Did Megaworld contact you? The answer is a BIG NO. With all the great buildings and condos Megaworld built, with the RICHNESS of the Resort World CASINO industry in PASAY and with @rwmanila whos just in front of Villamor Air Base Elementary School... Actually... RESORTSWORLD have NOT BOTHERED to SHARE THEIR BLESSINGS nor DONATED to the ALTERNATIVE DELIVERY MODE (ADM) production of MODULES to VABES up to now! Where is CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY sense here? Despite of reaching to them for help and donation, we were advised and referred to Megaworld! Where are you when we need you? Our SINCERE THANKS to Mayor Calixto for the cash donation of P10,000 and Congw Rep Emi Calixto-Rubiano for the P10,0000 as well. Both promised to help us raise some funds that will aid us in the MODULES weekly. Likewise THANK YOU to the parents, School Principal, teachers, DEPED Pasay, Villamor Air Base residents, Brgy 183 Council, and our friends who helped us in our fundraising for the ADM module reproduction... Please continue to help as we are still on the second week reproduction for our 4,273 students. Our Teachers are doing their share of burden of checking these modules every submission. One must imagine how tedious their job is and one must put themselves in our shoe. We are short of FUNDS! Just imagine if one teacher will give 10 pages of module to be printed to 4273 students. We are talking to the power of number of subjects and pages they want to give as modules! To ResortsWorld and Megaworld... Sana naman, there is really CSR or the thing you say as Corporate Social Responsiveness in your company. Getting tax credits because of CSR claims? Oh Come On! Lungsod Pasay must know that these companies have a bow to their community because there is an exchange of something in the ecology of business. Attention BIR Commissioner @kimhenares Kim Henares.
