We arrest people for committing fraud every day in this country. Yet, there is a group of people that make millions upon millions of dollars defrauding the most vulnerable among us. They target the elderly, the mentally ill, and the desperate. They get away with it every day, and no law enforcement agency seems to care. I am, of course, talking about faith healers and mega church preachers who claim the power of the supernatural to heal and bring prosperity to their followers. These individuals make specific claims and cash in big time. I think there should be more criminal investigations into these charlatans and they should be held accountable as they claim to be doing the work of God, while living in palatial estates with multiple luxury cars parked in the driveway, and no evidence to verify their claims.
