We ask that you continue to pray with us over the devastation and the losses of our brother and sisters in the Philippines. If you want to do more than just pray, MCC (Metropolitan Community Church) has five (5) churches there, all located on a Northern island several hundred miles from Tacloban, which is the area hardest hit by the typhoon Haiyan (known locally as typhoon Yolanda). Now that relief efforts are under way, MCC churches in the Philippines are joining together to participate. For distribution, they are partnering with local organizations through the National Council of Churches in the Philippines (NCCP). If you wish to support these efforts, you may donate to MCCs Disaster Relief Fund. The link via the Philippines Disaster Relief page is already designated to this specific need.
