We asked you about possible questions you have to our LINDT Maîtres Chocolatiers. So here we go with the answer to the fifth question: Why do you use artificial flavorings now? Taking again the Vanillin as a example. Vanillin is the most used flavoring in the world. But there are by far not enough vanilla beans available. Only between 2-3% from a vanilla bean is vanillin. This is beside the different taste the reason why artificial vanillin is used for milk chocolate or fillings.
