We at Iron Gait Percherons are ALL about helping the horses. We - TopicsExpress

We at Iron Gait Percherons are ALL about helping the horses. We are VERY proud of our Team and Organization. We work 24/7 to care and provide for all the horses welcomed into our program and do the best we can to go above and beyond in these efforts. We also work regularly with the Ag Dept, the Marshall’s Office, and local shelters to take in, rehabilitate, and even foster horses with pending court cases on their behalf. We often get in horses with significant issues. Not only do we help Horses, but we try to help individuals as well. Working with horses can be a therapy for many, and we do our best to help create a great match between our horses and new adopting families. Sometimes though, for various reasons, this doesn’t always work out. If this were the case, we always welcome the horses back if necessary, and even offer an exchange. Additionally we are always available for questions and support along the way. We have successfully placed over 130 horses in the last couple of years and have many happy adopters out there to show for it. We think our success rate speaks for itself. Unfortunately, people are not always as grateful for what we do as the horses. Sadly, and for the first time ever, we have had to actually file a lawsuit against one particular disgruntled individual named Candace Robinson (Lee). We are mentioning her name here only because she has not hesitated to mention ours in her ongoing public efforts to discredit this organization, what we stand for, and what we do. To clarify this issue further, we filed the initial suit against this individual, and have now learned that she has in return filed a countersuit in defense of and response to ours. Our complaints and her allegations are all in the hands of due process at this time, and we ask that everyone refrain from “judgment” until this matter can be properly resolved in a court of law. We can assure everyone that the counter allegations made by this individual are all being presented out of context, without appropriate knowledge of the facts, and purely in an attempt to shed false light on our organization. We have volunteers that help with stall work, feeding, and care for our horses every day, we have visitors often, we have faithful followers that show up to see the farm, we even have representatives from the Ag Dept, the Marshall’s office, the animal shelters, grant qualifiers, etc. that show up unannounced for periodic and visits and reviews. As a result, we have considerable support to substantiate the truth about how we care for our horses and can assure you that this will all be resolved in due process. Our organization has had nothing to hide and we are glad to answer any questions/concerns honestly and openly. However, per the advice of our attorneys, and in an effort to spare both IGP and yourselves the continued “Facebook Drama” regarding this particular situation, we prefer to the let it work itself out in court. Iron Gait Percherons hopes to remain helping the horses for many years to come. Drama like this, if it doesn’t kill us, only makes all of us pull together as more of a team. With your continued support, IGPs volunteers and friends, we are ALL Team Iron Gait. Just remember, it is ALL ABOUT THE HORSES! I am done with this drama...Have a good night everyone :)
