We at the Sonoma Humane Society are all very saddened by the news that the Healdsburg Animal Shelter will be closing in the upcoming weeks. Of course our primary concern is to sure that their resident animals find homes before they shut their doors. So we’re making a plea to our community, please go to the Healdsburg Animal Shelter and adopt one of their cats, dogs, or bunnies. They currently have a beautiful Bull Dog Mix named Bonita, who has the biggest head and widest smile that I’ve seen in some time. The Healdsburg Shelter has reduced adoption fees of $25 so that cost is not a barrier. The Sonoma Humane Society will work with other animal welfare organizations to help the Healdsburg Animals in need. We are also committed to finding these animals their forever home.
