We at the Words At Play Facebook team would like to say a May-Hew-Sive thank you to everyone who has contributed over the past few weeks to the daily prompts we have provided. If you commented once or every day, we appreciate all the effort YOU have put into this festival. This week, however, will be our final story made from your ideas, as we bring the daily prompts to a close. *Sobs shamelessly* Though we will be doing a weekly prompt to keep the cobwebs away from your creativity, we all know it wont be the same. So for the final time this year, here is the story written by you: It was time to light the fuse that would destroy everything theyd worked for, theyd gone too far, the evidence must be destroyed. Her boss always reminded her of peanuts, the beach, teenage desperation and floor length mirrors. Falling from the ceiling were flakes of magnolia emulsion paint. As she stopped to catch her breath towards the town, its streets cold and damp in the early morning light. She stood out from the crowd but after realising she was only in a towel and flip flops, she shouted YOLO! At the top of her lungs and carried on break-dancing to Queen. Darkening the doorway, lighting the world outside. His only way out was through the cellar. With extra special thanks to Hannah Freier, Calum Dwyer, Adrian Ackroyd, Harrison Fleming, Ricky Kennedy, Adam Sabatti, and Sophie Picton respectively for their contributions. Please send us any other stories that you make from our prompts, and as always: Keep Writing.
