We believe in love. We believe in hope. We believe that there is strength in numbers. We believe that ALL cancer research should be equally funded. We pray for a cure for ALL cancer. As you all know this is the month of pink. Its everywhere. Television, sports, walks, runs. Every store has a dedicated pink section. Why? Because breast cancer is a Multi billion dollar industry. Women are fierce. They love and live deeply. When a grandmother, mother, aunt, sister, friend or coworker is diagnosed we all feel it. We as women take it personally. We volunteer our time, we raise money and awareness. We buy pink from head to toe. We participate in walks across the country. We SHOP! I believe that this is inherently good. We mean well. We hope for good things to come from all our hard work. But please, before you spend money ANYWHERE, or for ANY charity, check the statistics. Many stores where pink merchandise is sold donate pennies on the dollar or nothing at all from your purchase. Many companies have realized the profitability of your passion and in turn greedily keep the money all to themselves. They drive luxury cars while we blindly give them our money. I am aware. Now you are too. There is no breast vs pediatric cancer battle. Cancer doesnt discriminate and neither do I. I just want a cure. #CancerisCancer #ItallSucks #EQUALFUNDING!
