We can build nicer buildings, raise up larger choirs, write better music, and preach greater sermons—we can do every- thing with more excellence than before. But if we are not carrying the “blue fame,” then God isn’t pleased. And He’ll see to it that “fame-less” churches become as unimportant to men as they are to Him. No “fame” indicates no fre, which eventu- ally results in barren buildings and hollow hearts. Somebody needs to say, “It’s cold in here—that’s why everybody’s leaving. Let’s turn up the heat of worship.”
