We can get truth into our heads without necessarily letting it get through to the inner recesses of our minds, literally changing the entire way we process thoughts. Likewise, we often let the Word get to our hearts- even bringing us to tears- but dont invite it to take complete residency and authority over our seat of emotions so we can trust some of the things we feel. Further, we say the Word of God is food for our souls, but do we give the Holy Spirit freedom and authority to use it to increasingly transform our entire personalities? Some good food for thought this morning about Gods word and how we digest it. Are we just snacking on it on Sundays or are we having a feast every day- letting His word nourish and transform us? #gethungry
