We can judge those who commit suicide and say how selfish the act of suicide is, but I think we can all agree that those who feel suicide is the best option are not thinking clearly. Depression has a way of altering the chemicals in the body so that the thoughts become irrational & very dark. The lucky ones, may realize this and do something early on to change their brain chemistry with the use of medications and/or exercise & better nutrition. And some may have tried it all and feel the ONLY relief is to take their own life. Maybe they feel they are doing a very unselfish thing by removing their darkness/depression/negative energy from those who have to be around them. It sounds horrid to think of suicide this way...but I think theres always another way of looking at things. Until weve walked a mile in their shoes, I say we stop judging. Maybe Robin is at peace finally. I am sorry his family has had to endure his awful exit, but I hope that they too can see that he might just be at peace now. RIP Robin. Youll get no judgment from me.
