We can pray to God. Answers come in many forms. But you shall have a stupor of thought that shall cause you to forget the thing which is wrong For it shall be given you in the very hour, yea, in the very moment. Be still, And know that I am God Endure it well. Be mindful that when revelation is given, Not to far behind in an otherwise pathetic attempt, Satan in his personal vendetta against you. Remember! He is not happy with you! Will whisper to us to question the validity of the very thing you have received. He will say things and put desires into your heart such as This cant be from God. I must of been my own thoughts. Or I am not to sure I can do that. I have experienced this in otherwise difficult trials where almost immediately, Satan will add his 2 cents worth. After an answer has been given. In one particular trial it was trench warfare in the mind. Trench warfare is brutal, bloody, vicious and without quarter. It was hard to stay constant when every attempt to stand firm was fiercely opposed. And the answer to begin with was. Endure it well. Then when things got worse. I had an impression from his truly. What I received cant be right. The thought came. Did I not speak peace to your mind concerning the matter? What greater witness can you have than from God? Having that divine confirmation of revelations past made all the difference. The Lord will fight for you. He is mindful of you. You may struggle, but if you hold faithful you will have rest to your soul for a season. This does not mean you become complacent and relaxed in the good times. Wo unto him that sayeth all is well in Zion. This time of peace is just as much a test of fortitude and diligence as a trial is a time to be refined! Are we watchful unto prayer. Are we mindful of the cunning snares covered in the undergrowth of the bush awaiting its next victim. The world is no different in all its ways to attract and mask the snare that awaits. Be watchful. For guards who say all is well are not diligent, when the enemy cometh they are like the foolish virgins who slumbered and slept only to be found wanting. What then can be done to help us maintain our spiritual liberty? The parable of the sower states Plant the seed in good ground. So does Alma Now, if ye give place, that a seed may be planted in your heart. Our spirits are the ground, humility makes it fertile for growth, the Word of God is the seed and our continual study of the Word enlarges our understanding, Increases our desire to repent, helps us to repent and increases our desire to follow his will that by and by we become new creatures. With a desire to no more do evil, but to work works of righteousness. By and by Satan may come. But by and by through this study you will always be ready. Sword drawn to defend the title of liberty you have erected, whether in your hearts or the hearts of those in your home, that you will not be brought down into captivity.
