We can so much spend unnecessary energy and time on all the mistakes we make...that is a trick of the enemy. He wants us to screw up, and then have us beat up on ourselves for not being perfect...WE WILL NEVER BE PERFECT....that is another one of Satans lies... to make us believe that we should be perfect...after he helps you mess up. He will point out people that SEEM to be perfect, but they arent perfect either...their imperfections are just DIFFERENT THAN YOURS...This doesnt mean that we should go through life messing up on purpose, but it does mean that MERCY and GRACE was given for the imperfections in our life...even the ones we arent even aware of...being humble about who we are, because we are all equal at the foot of the cross. We need the same GRACE as the next person. Now that we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God—let’s not let it slip through our fingers. We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin.
