We cannot fight what we cant see. We cannot fight what we dont - TopicsExpress

We cannot fight what we cant see. We cannot fight what we dont believe. It is marvellous to note that Zambians have the ability to soar and rise above any challenges. Our resilience as people, our ability to forget our problems and put on a smile represents the founding principles of our great nation. Our forefathers migrated from war, injustice and brutality in many areas including the mountains of Yaounde, Luba and Lunda kingdoms, Matembeleland, Kola in Angola and Zululand and founded a Nation biased on hard work, honesty, peace, justice and oneness. My humble appeal is to uphold nationalism and not tribalism, collaboration and not nepotism, unity and not disunity, justice and not injustice, integrity and not corruption. Love must be the cementing factor to our greatness. Our times demands focused minds that must build a great future through necessary deeds today. These necessary deeds must be established on mutual respect, integrity and oneness both in words and actions towards one another. We must build a nation where the sluggard must not drink of the milk or eat of the honey. The labouring man must be protected by sound legislation and dispensation of justice. We must not let agents of imperialist systems such as pleasure without labour, nepotism, injustice, selfishness, corruption and cowardice be at the cream of our governance structure and daily life. Such agents are so strong that they have destroyed great nations that have been before us. Our country needs men and women that must not nationalise expenses and privatise profits. Men and women whose hearts have the utmost interest of the nation and integrity of its people. What we need is a great sense of responsibility towards the exploitation of our natural resources. We must realise that energy, fossil and hydro is key tool for power in the region. Energy is the centre of civilisation. The Great Creator has given us water and plunges it down the fall; we must exploit this resource into energy and use it as a stamp of authority in our region. There is a dying passion that must be rekindled with songs of our forefathers, songs to soar to great heights like noble eagles, equality, peace and freedom for all men. Our forefathers in their nobility forged a nation out of the moral principle of one Zambia one Nation to express. Our motto signifies a great principal that all men are created equal in the image of the Great Creator. All young people must not neglect this principal from which our nation has been founded. The youth must stand firm against the rising tides of foreign sway that is slowly but surely sweeping off our core values as young Africans. To day presents a challenge for the youths to protect the definition of our moral fabric and integrity as a people.
