We currently have persistent rain falling over the South West and Western Wales, with showery rain in the North West of England and Scotland and across some parts of Yorkshire and Humberside. During the evening and overnight and persistant rain will become resticted to the South West of England, with showers continuing in the North West of Scotland. Other areas will remain dry and with clear skies temperatures will fall with overnight tempretures ranging from -3 in the North to 5c in the South and East. The rain in the South West will help the temperatures slightly with overnight temperatures of 7-9c in this region.(A link to the overnight temperature map is in the comments section). With the clear skies and low tempretures a widspread frost is expected for Northern areas. A much drier day in store for Sunday. In the morning there will be a few isolated showers in the far West and Northern Scotland, but these will soon clear leading to a dry, but cold, reminder of the morning and early afternoon for all areas, with plenty of sunshine.
