We desperately need fundraising for our Bama Seven. Boy did we pick a group this time. But we were their only hope. Well post individual albums and a group one. Well list a total number needed for our three biggest a costs. We need the money before any surgery can be performed. First is Cali the calico. She is ~1 year old. Shes felv/fiv/hw negative. Shes super sweet. She has a birth defect. Her front arm has no bone below the elbow. The skin below the elbow is just empty. She needs this amputated & spayed at the same time. The estimate is $250. She is good with dogs. Next is an adorable sweet puppy we have not named yet. She is a 3 month old mutt. She has grade IV luxating patellas (genetic) and as a result walks like a monkey. Since weve caught it early we can correct this. The cost is $2,100 to fix both legs. This will be done at South Paws in Mandeville by board certified orthopedic surgeon. The last one is a black Shar pei named Maximus. Hes just totally awesome. Hes ~3 years old, neutered & heartworm negative. He has 30-50% partial ACL tears on both back legs. This requires surgery as its very painful. The cost is $3,800 for TTA on both legs at South Paws. I know South Paws also has taken donations in the past. Remember no donation is too small. We are 501(c)3 so donations are tax deductible. Every single dollar adds up to save their lives. If you have any fundraising ideas wed also like to hear them. Total for the three is $6,150. Here are the other four animals from Bama. We also took Highway. Highway recently had his leg amputated but had no foster. His surgical site was infected. He got a antibiotic shot, antibiotic pills & cream. He will be neutered and then be available. Hes super sweet. We took a black puppy with severe demodex mange. Shes on ivermectin, eye meds, antibiotics and medicated shampoo. Once her skin is better she will be spayed. We also took Black Jack. He is a black & white male cat. Hes ~2 years old. Hes terrified of dogs. Hes fiv/felv/hw negative. We had him neutered Tuesday. He had a recent injury to his face. The front sinus is infected. The bone is damaged but will heal. Hes getting eye meds and antibiotics. Hes beyond friendly. The last is a very pregnant dog. Shes due any day with her puppies. On the xray they looked small & guess is five. Mama is heartworm negative. Shes covered in ringworm. You can donate to a specific animal or put the Bama 7. Once we have an amount on the cat we will put the total needed for all three to get surgery.
