We didnt spend our life together And I will miss you forever Remembering David Gold (1980 - 2011) and the recent passing of Black Tusks Jonathan Athon (1982 - 2014) makes me realise just how quickly life can be snatched away from us. And yes it has take just over a week to finally hit me that Athon is gone. I dont fear death, never have. What scares me the most though is dying without telling the people I love how I feel. Theres too much bullshit in this world for people not to love. People, for goodness sake, if you have people in your life that you truly love and care for, tell them. If you want to be with someone, tell them. Even if you just want to spend an afternoon with them sipping tea and bemoaning the ills of the world, tell them you want to do that and do it. And never forget that people love you and want to spend time with you. We seem to focus on all the wrong things because of what David called Modern Life Architecture. Surely we should never forget the people in our lives, and never put them aside for the sake of success or anything as such. Because we never know if the time we saw them previously might be our last. Something that haunts me everyday. To my family and friends, I love you all.
