We divide our lives into ‘good and bad…angry and sad’ but in - TopicsExpress

We divide our lives into ‘good and bad…angry and sad’ but in the end we discover that ‘everything belongs.’ Life comes to teach us that ‘truth is paradoxical’. *A man who feels that he-must-be-strong will reject the idea that vulnerability-is-strength. *A woman who feels that she-is-totally-responsible will resist relying on others to help her. *An abused victim can struggle to find richness in their recovery. *The addict can spend a lifetime accusing themselves. *A divorced parent can feel overwhelmed by guilt for hurting their children. *The death of a loved one can feel like insurmountable grief. *The lost of a job can destroy our self-esteem. The depression we feel from ‘loss’ can tempt us to see ‘nothing good’ in our lives. With patience and forbearance we come to realize that transitions, loss, suffering are part of life. We come to realize the test of endurance gives us strength, wisdom and insight we never had before. We don’t have to ask for ‘suffering’ it will come on its own…we must make it ‘our own’ so we can truly say…my life is everything and everything is in me.
