We do encourage members of the Former Detainees to take a bold decision individually or collectively by joining the armed resistance as a biting pressure on Salva Kiir to step down and give peace a chance. He is an avowed dictator who has vowed to crush all peaceful political means which attempt reforms. He has shown that he meant business on December 15, 2013, killing, dislodging and detaining leaders who only pursued political, democratic path. No waste of time to think he willl allow the g-11 or more to revisit that path. And no change will come without using the language he understands best - armed resistance. His dictatorship and lack of vision have already killed thousands for the last 9 years and counting. His cruel and violent leadership manifested itself in hunger, diseases and wars. Therefore, the current sacrifice to resist him by force and get rid of his dictatorship once and for all is not in vain. This is a practical way to end his bad leadership, make necessary reforms that shall usher in sustainable peace, democracy, freedom, justice, development, and hence not only save remaining lives of our people, but also make them prosper with quality life.
