We do not officially endorse this activity but if you want to scope the course out the Santa Fe Striders are probably the ones to do it with: We have 14 runners so far and there is still room for 6 more. The Practice Run starts Saturday August 16th, at 7 AM Ft. Marcy Rec. Ctr.. If you are not ready to run 13.1 miles, but would like to get to know the race course we have a support vehicle providing fluids that will pick you up along the way. You might also consider walking the two mile hill at the start of the run. If you do run it use the same effort you would on the flats. You dont want to be too burned out to enjoy the downhill.
