We dont know what kind of day youve had but at CLC it was an amazing day of serving our families and receiving wonderful donation goodies. The morning started off at Market Street by picking up fresh pecan & apple pies and other wonderful goodies. Why? Because the Lifeline Market is open today and many of our families will be coming in to shop. And the extra goodies were provided by a wonderful donation collection from our friends at Trinity Presbyterian Church of McKinney Missions. Their donation collection will be leveraged due to our wonderful partnerships in order to provide literally thousands of meals. Its called being community and working together at its very best. Then headed over to Emerson Regulators Technologies to pick up 437 boxes of laundry detergent. Their employees participated in a team competition to see which team could collect the most boxes. Needless to say there must have been some fierce competing. And why laundry detergent? Because it is one of the top requested items next to toilet paper at the Lifeline Market. Thank you Emerson employees! But wait theres more. The Christmas goodies began to arrive. The Stephen Ministry Group from Trinity Presbyterian Church provided their wonderful Christmas stockings for many of our children. This annual project is appreciated by so many of children. Yes, the holiday season is upon us. And it is truly the time in which our hearts our tender to give in extra special ways. What was your day like?
